Cam Brooks
Artist Reflection

During this PhotoShop project, I had many ups and downs. I had a few strong aspects and a few I could've improved on.  There were also easy parts of this project, but with every project there are some hard parts. Finally, there were many ways of how I could've done this project many different ways.

I feel my strongest technical aspect was my painting. I feel this way because most of the time I was able to stay inside of the lines. I could've outlined my laces first, instead of painting them first. I feel this would've been easier instead of trying to find where the knots were. After that, all I would've had to d is just fill in the laces. An easy part about this project was choosing what picture to paint over. This was easy because I already had an idea about what I wanted to do. This idea was to paint my shoes and transform them into a Red Sox color, since I am a fan of them. There were a few difficult parts about this project. A difficult part was to outline my laces, another one was adding the leaves on the shoe. These were hard because I didn't know where the laces started and ending, the leaves were hard because the changed size every time, this added a cool effect though. Finally, I could've done this project in a few different ways.  I could've outlined the laces, like I've said a few times already, I could've painted different sections first, or I could've done a different design instead of the leaves and colors.

In conclusion,  this was the Artist Reflection for the PhotoShop project. These were my strongest parts, parts I could've improved. Also, I stated what the easy and hard parts of this project was. Finally, I said how I could've done this project differently.

  1. I see you had a good time painting your sneakers. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I like how you chose a theme for your work and painted it accordingly. The leaves are a fun touch.
